We’re only able to accept a small group of applicants each year to ensure every fellow receives personalized mentorship and support. That means space is extremely limited and interest is already high.

The full cost of the BASED Media Fellowship is $1,500 per participant, which covers all training materials, one-on-one mentorship, guest expert sessions, and access to our alumni network. Many participants have their tuition covered by their employer, school, or sponsoring organization.

However, we’re committed to making this opportunity accessible and scholarships are available for applicants who demonstrate need or don't have institutional support. If cost is a barrier, we encourage you to apply and indicate your interest in a scholarship during the application process.
