BASEDPolitics is a next-generation multi-media hub committed to providing “Based” commentary and reporting that actually moves the needle on public policies.
Over the past three years, we’ve published fast-paced, brief news and opinion articles, multiple podcasts in the top five percent of shows, and created videos (think Tik Tok and YouTube) with millions of views.
We’re here to create independent media that influences the future of the Right while also recruiting independent and disaffected Left-wing supporters.
Our values are unapologetically rooted in free markets, limiting the government, and individual liberty—we’ll take the side of these principles no matter the cost.
WHY OUR APPROACH IS DIFFERENT

The future of media is not one of institutions. It is one of individual personalities.
People don’t follow the Daily Wire—they follow Ben Shapiro. People don’t just follow Fox News—they follow Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity. People don’t follow some podcasting network—they follow individuals like Joe Rogan. And people increasingly don’t follow mainstream media outlets, but rather trust and follow individual independent journalists like Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, and Megyn Kelly.
It only follows that the future of pro-liberty media can’t be about propping up some new brand or institution. What we need are individuals who are positioned to move the needle online.
At BASEDPolitics, we’re committed to using our communication and marketing skills to effect change in the real world. And we’re also passionate about teaching others in our movement to do the same.
To that end, we’re offering courses to train the next leading influencers in the liberty movement on the tools they need to build online brands, launch new platforms, and create content that engages the grassroots, applies pressure on lawmakers, and ultimately, moves the needle on public policy.
